Stapled Floors - Glossary

Stapled Floors - The most significant consideration to make when stapling solid hardwood floors is the type of sub floor involved. The sub flooring used will ultimately determine the success or failure of your project. Stapled flooring has the benefits of: Ease of individual board replacement, and a solid feel. If you do decide to go with a stapled floor, consider using a waxed paper underlayment. Although not a necessity, the wax paper will reduce noise, allow for easier installation, and stop dirt from coming up better than standard Kraft building paper.
