Glued Wood Floors - Glue down floor installations encompass a hefty sector of the engineered hardwood flooring industry. They are frequently used in situations where concrete sub floors are used. If done correctly, a glued down installation is a very stable one. One key downside to gluing down your flooring is the improper leveling of the sub-floor and the sensitivity of the adhesives to the wood used. If it's not level or you're using the wrong type of adhesive, you could be in for some serious problems in the future.
